It starts by looking like your average ecchi show that couldn’t give two shits about plot and the plot is just an excuse to have hot women with their tits hanging out, but as the series matures and progresses the fanservice-in addition to having moments of fan-disservice-starts to become less this and more just out and out nudity at times, but I guess that’s a matter of perspective. All 3 of them…moments that is.įreezing is one of those series that out and out surprises you. The close seconds are Rangiku and Yoruichi driving Ichigo nuts by trying to show him what they got. Still, this and the subsequent almost kiss are still my favorite moment in Bleach, hands down. I know that’s because Kubo said his manga would not have a romance in it, but a guy can dream, can’t he? You’ll see higher up how romances have built and bloomed from moments like this, but with this: 400 chapters and still fuck all. Well that’s because, aside from being ship fuel, this moment is a fucking tease. And for those of you that know me well, you’re probably wondering what this moment in all its shiptastic glory, is doing so far down on this list. She’s creepy and she’s one of the antagonists, but here it’s so sweet to see her spend bonding time with her dad who really is a good dad if nothing else. In all of the Fate/Stay Night routes, Illya is such a brat. Now for anyone that started with Fate/Zero and never saw the 2006 anime, you probably don’t understand what makes this moment so special, unless of course you went ahead and watched the 2014 UBW series.
For anyone who watched Fate/Zero they’ll remember this part right from the beginning of the series, where Illya and her father go looking for blooming chestnuts. OMG! Illyasviel is adorable! *looks around suspiciously* Ahem, er right. Moment Title: Search for the Chestnut Bud It’s cute, it’s adorable and it’s what makes it worthy to be on this list. Satou tells her that she gets half the box if memory serves and then proceeds to hand feed her the barbecued eel out of the box, complete with Sen looking absolutely adorable as she opens her mouth like a toddler being fed by her parents. The heartwarming moment though comes in when Sen, looking annoyed that Satou duped her, asks what “being pampered” entails. So, in the final episode, Satou turns off Sen’s alarm clock so that she doesn’t go into battle sick telling her “sick people deserve to be pampered” and goes off on his own to fight Orthros.ĪND HE WINS! He also gets the best Ben-To on the menu. She also winds up getting sick as a result. However, towards the end of the airtime of the show, Sen gets her shit wrecked by the nefarious Orthros. Satou, as you can imagine, being our newcomer protagonist, sucks at this at the very start. She’s one of the best “wolves” in the series.
